Death Valley
Alabama Hills- Thur.
On Thursday it was overcast in Lone Pine and Sierras were shrouded in clouds. Not a great days for pictures. We took a ride through the Alabamas and found some areas we had not seen before. From eye level you could see a few large flowers along the trail we took to the arched rock. But at closer inspection there were many small flowers in the desert soil. We then headed East to Death Valley.
An interesting and not unusual finding is that Furnace Creek gas prices were the highest on the trip!!
Carson City had the cheapest prices at $3.799 per gallon.
